About Role:
A proactive account management role, where the primary focus is residential and light commercial product sales into the specialist contractor, wholesale, retail, and builder channels. Increase revenue from the existing customer base and new business prospects.
You will be reporting to the Auckland Regional Sales Manager.
Responsibilities:
* Report to the Auckland Regional Sales Manager
* Manage and grow existing customer relationships
* Build relationships with key contacts across each account, to achieve revenue and growth goals
* Develop and grow market opportunities through new business development
* Prepare quotations for light commercial projects
* Negotiate contracts and assist in arranging credit
* Provide customer support, educating, training, and providing product information and new product presentations
* Manage a South Island call cycle with out of town serviced monthly
* Gather market and customer information and buying trends
This is an ideal role for a Salesperson used to a competitive market, where a large number of brands are competing for the same market share.

About You:
* Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, ideally in HVAC but a similar industry would work.
* Experience in HVAC / Refrigeration / Electrical Engineering fields
* Strong account management and relationship building skills
* Great time management and the ability to work autonomously
* Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills
* Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
* Accuracy, with excellent attention to detail
