JOB – Graduate Mechanical Engineer (HVAC / Building Services)
LOCATION – Dartford
TERM – Permanent
SALARY – £27,000 to £32,000 per annum (plus benefits)
My client is a specialist consultancy working within the HVAC and building services sector. They are looking to take on a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Dartford.
The Graduate Mechanical Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
• A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and building services principles
• Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD or Revit (desirable but not essential)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Enthusiastic and keen to develop within the building services industry
The Graduate Mechanical Engineer role will involve:
• Assisting in the design of HVAC and building services systems
• Supporting senior engineers on live projects from concept to completion
• Producing technical drawings, calculations, and documentation
• Liaising with project teams, contractors, and clients to ensure successful delivery
• Learning to apply industry standards and best practices in building services
• Contributing to project meetings and providing design input where required
