This is a unique role, as the successful candidate will have a remit between both Justice and Housing Services. The purpose of the role is to strengthen connections between Justice and Housing Services and ensure Justice Service Users are supported to sustain their tenancies and prevent homelessness. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual with experience of working directly with individuals within the Justice system. The successful candidate will be expected to support and empower individuals to sustain and manage their own tenancies, which is of course the essential foundation from which they can build and maintain their desistance. As well as experience working alongside service users, the preferred candidate should have an interest and knowledge of housing and be familiar with the policies and processes which govern that service. The role will be split over two bases, Justice and Housing, and the successful candidate will act as a conduit between both services to support this integration and partnership working and ultimately to improve the lives of people accessing these services whilst preventing homelessness where possible.
