Our client located in Tilbury is looking for a Transport Administrator to join their dynamic team! Hours: Monday - Friday 8.30am-5.30pm Salary: £26,000 -£30,000 We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Transport Administrator to support our clients busy transport office. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working collaboratively across departments.
Responsibilities: Monitor the transport mailbox and ensure all emails are responded to and actioned promptly.
Handle daily bookings and administrative tasks including customer communication and email distribution.
Provide support and liaison between the bookings/administration department, customers, and internal teams.
Assist with checking rate confirmations, rating jobs, and sending invoices.
Carry out general admin duties such as answering calls, data input, and arranging meetings.
Work with support teams to resolve IT or system issues affecting the department.
Requirements: Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office and Excel.
Willingness to learn new software and systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Reliable with good punctuality and attendance.
Additional Information: A driving license and own transport are preferable due to the location of the office.
