ROLE: Estimator – Electrical and Mechanical
LOCATION: Northamptonshire
HOURS OF WORK: Days
BASIC SALARY: £60K - £80K D.O.E

We are working with an industry-leading company based in Northamptonshire, specialising in electrical, plumbing and heating services.
As part of their continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Estimator with a background in both Electrical and Mechanical services to join their dynamic team.
Your responsibilities as an Estimator:
* Prepare detailed cost estimates and tenders for electrical and mechanical installation projects
* Analyse drawings, specifications and other documents to prepare accurate pricing
* Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotes
* Identify value engineering opportunities and alternative solutions
* Assist in risk analysis and evaluation of tender documentation
* Attend pre- and post-tender meetings as required
* Support project handover to operations team, providing clarity on costs and scope
* Work to tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy
To be successful as an Estimator you will have:
* Proven experience as an Estimator in Electrical and Mechanical services
* Strong technical knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and heating systems
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Excellent analytical and numerical skills
* Strong negotiation and communication skills
* Proficient in estimating software and MS Office (Excel in particular)
* Full UK driving licence
