As our new Bid Writer, you will work closely with the UK sales teams to continue our success. Primarily working with the Private Sector, in Channel, Corporate and Enterprise verticals, you will have the opportunity to upskill on the service, product, and business knowledge required to prepare winning bids for our sales teams. The role includes acting as a source of knowledge to support our salespeople, streamlining the bids effort, and data collection to reveal useful trends and aid commercial decisions.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Maximising win rates by supporting the Bid Manager to ensure that all bids meet our high standards
* Reviewing the Bids Library and working with the Bid Manager to identify and fill content gaps with innovative new materials
* Establish and maintain good working networks with various stakeholders across the sales, operations, and technical teams to align on winning strategies
* Contributing to market-leading proposals which are tailored to each customer
* Preparing and reviewing the commercial aspects of bids to maximise company performance
Your Competencies:
* 5+ years’ experience working hands on with writing bid proposals, ideally in a similar role
* Proven experience in preparing bids for the private sector, with corporate and/or enterprise customers
* Willingness to occasionally travel to attend internal and external meetings and events
* Experience working with bids for public sector is highly regarded
