From planning and compliance to people management and audits, this is a hands-on role that blends leadership with technical know-how. Oversee workshop operations, ensuring maximum output and quality Lead safety-first culture and complete weekly audits across sites Manage workshop team performance, mentoring and upskilling where needed Monitor and maintain high service standards across all equipment Contribute to planning and stock readiness with weekly yard checks About YouYou’re a hands-on leader with a mechanical mindset and a proven background in LCVs, HGVs or plant equipment. You’ll bring energy, structure and a people-first approach to team development, while never losing sight of quality and safety. Previous experience as a Workshop Manager or Supervisor in a similar setting Strong background as a Service Engineer or Fitter on LCVs, HGVs or Plant & Equipment Preferably competent in using diagnostic tools and maintenance systems Engineering qualifications (City & Guilds or NVQ preferred) Calm under pressure and confident in setting clear team priorities About UsDawsongroup EMC is part of Dawsongroup, one of Europe’s leading asset rental businesses.
