We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our expanding team at the OUH Cowley site. The department supports homecare activities across the Trust, processing invoices related to outsourced Homecare services that provide pharmacy supplies directly to patients' homes. We consider both full-time and part-time hours, with remote working available one day a week.
Experience is not necessary; however, a keenness to learn, attention to detail, and adaptability are essential. Main duties include:
1. Processing invoices, ensuring correct pricing and proper filing.
2. Chasing outstanding credits with suppliers.
3. Matching orders to delivery documents and preparing related documentation.
4. Checking supplier statements to manage debt levels.
5. Raising purchase orders to expedite timely deliveries from healthcare providers.
6. Collaborating with colleagues to resolve issues.
Additional responsibilities involve familiarity with pharmacy computer systems, administrative support, invoice matching, raising purchase orders, goods receipt, documentation management, discrepancy resolution, query management, and supporting team training. The role also includes participation in meetings, ensuring data protection, supporting clinical prescription processing, and maintaining accurate records.
The post involves access to vulnerable populations and requires a Disclosure and Barring Service check. Candidates should possess team working skills, flexibility, positive attitude, communication skills, basic MS Office skills, time management, literacy, numeracy, organization, reliability, self-motivation, and independence. Desirable criteria include previous financial or pharmacy experience, GCSEs in Maths and English, and pharmacy experience.
