We are looking to recruit three reliable, enthusiastic and organised individuals to join our outstanding Trust as postal despatch coordinators. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone wishing to start a career in an administrative role within the NHS. We have three full time positions available, fixed term for a period of six months. Full training and support will be provided to the successful candidates.
The post holder(s) will work within the Trust's Administration Team providing essential support in the delivery of clinical correspondence whilst procurement is underway for a new electronic patient healthcare communication system.
Post holders are to be adaptable to future changes in the scope of their role and to be receptive and support of changes in processes and systems as the Trust communication systems develop over this period.
Ensuring all letters are distributed via post or email.
Ensure printers are consistently fully loaded with paper and supplies are ordered.
Whilst printing, ensure the printer is always monitored and no correspondence left unattended.
Ensure all envelopes are sealed and sort into appropriate posting trays before dispatching to post room.
L iaise with IT and ensure prompt resolution to any problems with machinery
Ensure that stationery stock levels are always maintained.
Accurate recording of any internal or external post sent to the admissions department
Any other duties required to support the patient pathway coordinators sending communication out.

Coordinate cover of duties across both Divisions during periods of holiday and / or sickness .

Ensuring completion of timely PDR/Appraisal process with designated line manager

Undertaking any other duties which are deemed appropriate to the band
