We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Associate, Tax Reporting & Compliance Representative II to join our Tax Operations team. This role is in Manchester. In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: Oversee advanced operational support for tax records, returns, and reports, ensuring compliance with complex regulatory requirements. Coordinate intricate regulatory filings and review updates to tax forms and information return layouts for accuracy and completeness. Set team priorities, serve as the main escalation point, and provide mentoring and guidance to junior team members. Act as the team lead and primary point of contact to ensure timely and precise responses to internal and external inquiries. Perform advanced quality assurance reviews for highly complex client deliverables in accordance with department policies. Take ownership for the accuracy of output and actively contribute to shaping department strategy and best practices. Manage tax data throughout its lifecycle: monitor required data, identify and address gaps, coordinate data collection, perform complex data analyses, resolve issues, and implement system or process improvements to adapt to evolving market and regulatory needs. Experience with AI and digital tools is a plus, though not a requirement. To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: Strong communication skills with a client‑obsessed mindset; able to explain complex topics in simple, inclusive language. Curiosity and problem‑solving skills with the ability to analyse trends and recommend improvements. Comfortable with digital tools and learning new systems quickly; attention to detail and ownership mindset. High school/secondary school or equivalent experience required; bachelor’s degree welcomed but not mandatory. Several years of total work experience helpful; we value diverse paths and transferable skills.
