You will support and encourage them to lead full and valued lives, enabling more independence.
You’ll be great with people – a real ‘people person’ who can communicate effectively, explaining yourself clearly and understanding others’ behaviors and expressions. Having a good sense of humor, resilience, and a willingness to assist residents with personal hygiene are also important.
What you will be doing
You will join an inclusive, supportive team that provides care to people with learning disabilities and mental health conditions. Whether you have experience as a Care Assistant or Support Worker, you will use your skills to support people in leading fulfilling lives.
Working alongside a multidisciplinary team, you will use your excellent communication skills and experience in Learning Disabilities & Autism to support residents through their care pathways. It can be challenging at times, so a positive attitude, compassion, resilience, and vigilance are essential. It is rewarding to see people improve because of your support.
You will work 35 hours per week, with shifts from 7am-2.30pm and 2pm-9.30pm, including weekends on a rota basis.

Bradfield House is part of our Learning Disability and Autism division, offering a specialist residential service for men and women with various learning disabilities, including autism and sensory impairments.
The home features two lounges, ten spacious en-suite bedrooms, and two enclosed gardens. It is located in Worthing, near the sea front, with easy access to train stations and local amenities.

* Be reliable, flexible, honest, and local or within commuting distance
Eligibility: You must live in the UK and have the right to work full time. Student and Skilled Worker visas for 20 hours are not accepted.
