As our new Graduate Civil Engineer, you'll be based in Snodland, reporting to a Senior Civil Engineer. You'll learn from the best, contributing to key engineering tasks, ensuring project quality, and making sure we meet all safety and design standards. Responsibilities
* Help our senior engineers come up with smart technical solutions for our capital projects.
* Work alongside our engineering team, assisting on a variety of projects to make sure everything runs smoothly and on time.
* Get hands‑on with creating key project documents, including scope documents, design drawings, and important health and safety (CDM) paperwork.
* Get out of the office for on‑site visits, where you'll help guide our contractors and check that work meets our high standards.
* Keep an eye on things and let the Project Manager know about any issues that might affect project timings or costs.
* Chat with different stakeholders and handle the process of getting the external approvals we need for our projects to go ahead.
* Take charge of your own development as part of our graduate training programme, tracking your progress and growing your skills with our support.
Qualifications
* A qualification (HNC, HND or degree) in Civil Engineering or a similar subject.
* Good engineering sense and a solid grasp of industry standards and best practices.
* Great organisational and time‑management skills – you know how to get things done on schedule.
* Some entry‑level experience in civil engineering projects, perhaps from a placement or internship.
* A full UK driving licence, as you'll be visiting our sites.
