Functional Description:
Quality plays a critical role in completing root cause analysis investigations, that ensure performance and safety critical items are restored. Our team of skilled engineers work around the race calendar, ensuring containments and preventative actions are robustly delivered.
Quality Industrial Placement:
Join our Quality Engineering team to support root cause investigations and drive improvements in safety and performance-critical components. You’ll work closely with engineers and project managers to analyse data, track investigations, and implement corrective actions that directly impact race performance. This hands-on role is ideal for students with a mechanical or automotive engineering background, strong analytical and CAD skills, and a keen eye for detail. You’ll gain exposure to technical problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, and the fast-paced world of Formula 1. Motorsport experience through internships or personal projects is highly desirable.

* Perform full root cause analysis into technical problems affecting race performance.
* Analyse data, update processes, and present findings to the Quality and Operations leadership teams.
* Support supplier improvement projects and contribute to cross-functional action plans.
Qualifications

* Bring a strong background in mechanical or automotive engineering—through study, internships, or personal projects.
* Experience with CAD software and a basic understanding of engineering principles is essential.
* Demonstrate strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
* Be proactive, collaborative, and eager to learn in a high-performance, fast-paced environment.
* Motorsport experience through internships or personal projects is highly desirable.
