About the role
This is an opportunity to work on advanced RF seeker systems within a leading defence programme supporting the UK Ministry of Defence.
You will join a specialist Systems Design (SDMS) team, contributing to the development of complex missile sub-systems, with a focus on architecture definition, requirements management, and system integration.
This role offers exposure to Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) approaches and the opportunity to work across the full system lifecycle in a highly collaborative engineering environment.
What youll be doing
* Contributing to the definition of system architecture, applying MBSE principles
* Eliciting, developing and managing system requirements across the lifecycle
* Creating Functional and Physical Architectures using SysML or similar modelling approaches
* Supporting system integration, verification and validation activities
* Working closely with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, suppliers and stakeholders
* Contributing to the development of operational and functional concepts for seeker technologies
What were looking for
Essential experience
* Strong background in Systems Engineering within complex engineering environments
* Experience in requirements elicitation, definition and lifecycle management
* Practical use of MBSE methodologies (e.g. SysML, UML, ARCADIA or similar)
* Experience developing system architectures and specifications
* Ability to work across cross-functional engineering teams
Desirable experience
* Experience with DOORS / DOORS Next / Rhapsody / Capella
* Exposure to modelling & simulation tools (e.g. MATLAB, Simulink)
* Understanding of RF / radar / electronic systems or similar domains
* Experience within defence, aerospace or highly regulated environments
