A leading investment bank is seeking a highly motivated Team Assistant for the Macro Research department. The role supports the FX, Rates, and EM Strategy teams within the Economics Research group.
What you'll do
* Answer incoming calls, take messages, and manage the switchboard
* Register all guests and manage external meeting room bookings
* Send out a weekly schedule of all meetings booked
* Maintain tidiness of meeting rooms and reception area, including cleaning/descaling coffee machines
* Welcome guests and clients, offering tea/coffee/water
* Arrange couriers and mail collection
* Update spreadsheets for bookings, couriers, lunches, and supplies
* Keep kitchens tidy and well-stocked
* Perform ad-hoc duties and provide additional support to the administration team as required
Who you are
* Experience in corporate reception is required
* Experience in a financial services firm is preferable
* Proficient in MS Office applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
* High attention to detail
* Flexible and capable of multitasking in a dynamic environment
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Team player with a positive attitude
