Main Responsibilities
You will:
* Work with families across the continuum of need from Child In Need to the conclusion of Care Proceedings.
* Collaborate with colleagues in Early Help, Children in Care, Care Leavers, Children with Disabilities, health and education services under a district model.
* Coordinate statutory duties, including completing child plans and ensuring children are seen and heard.
* Conduct Section 47 investigations.
* Place children into Local Authority care when it is agreed they can no longer remain at home.
* Prepare Private and Public Law reports.
* Refer children to centralised specialist support and services.
The Ideal Candidate
* Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
* Current UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
* Ideally has completed ASYE before starting the role.
* Desire to work with children and families to provide timely support with the aim of keeping families together where safe.
Interviews will be held in May 2026.
