Suffolk Minds mission is to make Suffolk the best place in the world for talking about and taking care of mental health, and to assist with this we are looking to recruit an Events & Community (East Suffolk) Fundraising Officer
As Events & Community (East Suffolk) Fundraising Officer your role will be to develop and deliver Suffolk Minds calendar of fundraising events, support individuals participating in third-party challenge events and individuals, groups & associations in East Suffolk with fundraising in aid of Suffolk Mind.
* 22.5 hours per week (part time)
* Monday Friday 10 am 2.30 pm (flexible and to be discussed)
* Competitive salary £27, £30,856.00 pro rata per annum
* Felixstowe (however regular travel around Suffolk is required)
* Hybrid working available (2 days per week working from the office)
* permanent role

Key requirements for this role:
* Experience of planning, managing & delivering events
* Confident in representing the organisation externally
* Ability to work independently, creatively and with tact and maturity, and can assist distressed and unwell fundraisers by listening and signposting to support.
* Willingness to travel within Suffolk regularly and work flexibly and as required, outside normal office hours
* Driving license is essential as this role will require you to be out in the community regularly.
