Food Technician - Secondary Schools (Merton) Full-time | 5 days per week We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Technician to join a group of welcoming and inclusive secondary schools across the London Borough of Merton. This is a full-time role, working five days per week, ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting high-quality food technology education. The Role As a Food Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth delivery of Food Technology lessons. Working closely with teaching staff, you will help create a safe, engaging, and well-organised learning environment for students of all abilities. Key responsibilities include: Preparing ingredients, equipment, and materials for practical lessons Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised food technology area Supporting students during practical sessions when required Managing stock, ordering supplies, and ensuring correct storage Ensuring health and safety standards are consistently met The Schools The schools are known for being inclusive, supportive, and collaborative, with a strong focus on staff wellbeing and student success.
