Full-Time / Temp to Perm / Ongoing Opportunities Available
We are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 Walking Floor Drivers to join our growing transport operation based in Widnes. This is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers looking for consistent work, competitive rates of pay, and long-term opportunities on a temp to perm basis after 13 weeks.
Key Responsibilities:- Safely operate Class 1 Walking Floor vehicles across planned routes
- Complete daily vehicle checks and defect reporting procedures
- Deliver and collect loads efficiently while maintaining excellent safety standards
- Ensure compliance with tachograph, driving hours, and transport legislation
- Complete all relevant paperwork and delivery documentation accurately
- Maintain high standards of professionalism when representing the business
Requirements:- Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Minimum 1 year's Class 1 driving experience required
- Previous Walking Floor experience preferred
- Valid CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
- Good understanding of driver regulations and road transport legislation
- Reliable, safety-conscious, xsngvjr and professional attitude
