FLT Driver / Yard Operative
Builders Merchants - Immediate Start
We are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Driver / Yard Operative to join a busy and well-established builders merchants. This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual looking for work within a fast-paced trade environment.
The Role:
Working as part of the yard team, your duties will include:
* Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently
* Operating Counterbalance FLT in a busy yard environment
* Picking and preparing customer orders
* Serving trade and retail customers professionally
* Maintaining stock levels and keeping the yard clean and organised
* Following all health & safety procedures at all times
Requirements:
* Valid Counterbalance FLT Licence (in-date)
* Previous experience within a builders merchants or similar environment preferred
* Good communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Hours & Pay:
* Monday to Friday
* Occasional Saturday mornings may be required
* Competitive hourly rate
