We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Specialist Teaching Assistant to support children and young people with Special Educational Needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition.
This is a full-time position with an immediate start, working with learners aged 10 to 17 across both primary and secondary phases. Working hours are 8.30am to 3.15pm, Monday to Friday.

Your Role
* Providing tailored classroom and 1:1 support
* Supporting pupils to engage with learning and routines
* Encouraging emotional regulation and positive behaviour
* Assisting with differentiated learning activities
* Working closely with teachers and specialist staff

Experience Required
* A minimum of 6 months childcare experience, particularly supporting children or young people with SEN or ASD
* A patient, calm and adaptable approach
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
