Attendance Manager - PRU:
Prospero Teaching are currently seeking a highly organised and proactive professional to join a PRU as an Attendance Manager, in the Tameside area. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in both whole‑school attendance and the success of pupils with SEN and SEMH.
The Role:
* Tracking and monitoring attendance for the school
* Liaising with parents, staff and third‑party agencies to promote increased attendance
* Using targeted interventions to support pupils with poor attendance
Position Details:
* Position: Attendance Manager
* Location: Tameside
* Type of Work: Temporary
* Full Time only
* Minimum Rate of Pay: £120 per day, depending on experience
* Start date: ASAP
* End date: Long‑Term, Ongoing
Experience, Training & Qualifications:
* Up to date safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Experience in attendance and school administration
* Previous experience supporting SEMH and challenging behaviour
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
* Hold Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
* Provide two professional child‑related references that cover at least the last two years
