Substantive Consultant – Histopathology
Applications are invited for the post of Substantive Consultant in Histopathology.
Team & Subspecialty Opportunities
There are several posts available, with potential job‑sharing or less‑than‑full‑time appointments. The successful applicant will join a team of 32 consultants, working in an oligo‑specialist setting. Clinicians are encouraged to take part in 2‑3 subspecialties. In preparation for the retirement of the perinatal Pathologist, we particularly welcome applicants with experience or interest in paediatric/perinatal Pathology. Applicants with skin or GI specialisation are also welcomed, and other subspecialty interests can be accommodated.
Training & Development
The post offers the opportunity to undertake or continue speciality training in collaboration with training centres. You will play a key role in training up to 12 ST1‑5 trainees and facilitating Part 2 examinations.

Qualifications
Full General Medical Council (GMC) registration with a licence to practice is required at time of application.
