Job Introduction
Join our team as a Security Guard with Sodexo and take pride in maintaining a safe and secure environment, upholding high standards of vigilance, and supporting smooth operations across the site!
What you’ll do:
* Maintain full adherence to SIA licence requirements at all times
* Learn, sign off, and follow all security Assignment Instructions
* Provide a professional first point of contact for all Gatehouse visitors
* Control site access and egress, ensuring only authorised visitors are permitted entry
* Manage vans and HGV deliveries in line with site procedures
* Monitor CCTV and alarms, responding appropriately as instructed
* Communicate clearly and professionally via email, radio, and telephone
What you bring:
* Valid SIA Licence (essential)
* First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
* Previous gatehouse or security experience preferred
* Strong communication skills and professional approach to visitors and staff
* Good awareness of health & safety and site security procedures
* Reliable, vigilant, and able to work independently or as part of a team
