We are looking for an enthusiastic and efficient Quality Assurance Manager to work within the laboratory team to develop the quality management system and oversee the implementation of quality assurance activities such as audits, equipment maintenance, SOP review and nonconformance reporting. The role may also perform serology assays for clinical trials and assist the Laboratory Manager in ensuring assay and data quality.
Responsibilities
 * Develop and implement the quality management system in the laboratory
 * Oversee quality assurance activities including audits, equipment maintenance, SOP review, and nonconformance reporting
 * Perform serology assays for clinical trials as required
 * Assist the Laboratory Manager to ensure assay and data quality
 * Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with GCLP
Qualifications
 * Successful track record in quality assurance or quality control
 * Experience writing and reviewing SOPs, performing equipment maintenance, assay QC, and audits
 * Excellent experience of working within a GCLP environment
 * Experience of performing ELISA/MIA or OPkA assays
 * Strong organisational, time-management and communication skills
 * Enthusiasm and personal initiative to solve problems; able to work unsupervised
