The Role
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with challenging behaviour.
* Help students develop positive coping strategies and build their self-confidence.
* Assist teachers in creating a safe and inclusive learning environment.
* Work closely with SEN teams, parents, and external agencies to implement tailored behaviour management plans.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will:
* Have experience working with young people, particularly those with behavioural, emotional, or social difficulties.
* Be patient, approachable, and skilled at building trusting relationships.
* Possess strong communication and problem-solving skills.
* Be resilient and capable of handling challenging situations with a calm and professional approach.
Experience in education, youth work, or working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is advantageous.
