The Company Christchurch Ready-Mix Concrete Ltd (CRMC) is a well-established company which has been operating in Canterbury for over 60 years and is now part of the H.W Richardson Group. The company is made up of four divisions which are concrete, aggregates, civil contracting and a workshop delivering mechanical and engineering services.
The Role: We are looking for a supervisor to oversee the day-to-day running of our concrete operations. You will be reporting directly to the Concrete Manager, and you will be required to lead the team of mixer drivers, batchers and laboratory staff.
You will take ownership of our four concrete plants, two at our Belfast site and one in Hornby and one in Rolleston. You will work with the team to ensure our concrete is batched to the specification requirements and our plants are maintained to ensure optimal production is achieved. You will also manage our mixer fleet to ensure the mixers are maintained and utilised efficiently at each site.
This will be achieved with a strong focus on health and safety and staff wellbeing. To be successful and influential in this role you will need to:
