Sewell Wallis is currently working with a well-established business based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire who is looking for an Accounts Assistant on a temporary basis for around 6 months. This is a great opportunity to utilise your skills in support a well-established local business. This Accounts Assistant role predominantly revolves around the maintenance of the Accounts Payable and Receivable ledgers, so is suitable for someone with experience in these areas. Processing and coding purchase invoices Preparing BACS payment runs for authorisation Processing employee expenses Reconciling supplier statements Issuing sales invoices and credit notes as required Reviewing aged debtors monthly and contacting customers with overdue balances Completing monthly bank reconciliations Preparing monthly VAT returns Collating data using spreadsheets Carrying out additional ad hoc duties at management's discretion to support the wider finance teamWhat skills are we looking for?
