Manager Health & Social Care - Regulated Service
Location: Glasgow, the role will be based in and work across the Queen Elizabeth and Glasgow Royal Infirmary hospitals
Salary: £31,797 per annum
Hours: 35 per week
Contract: Fixed Term Contract (30th September 2026)
Travel: Full UK Driving Licence Essential and Access to a Vehicle (Business Mileage reimbursed)
SSSC Registration: Registered with SSSC or meet the requirements for registration essential
About the Role
The British Red Cross in Glasgow is launching a new Support at Home service. Do you have great leadership skills and can motivate others? Would you like to make a difference to vulnerable people's lives? With over 75 years of supporting the NHS and aiding individuals in crisis, we are looking for a Service Manager to manage health and care services, ensuring standards and service contracts are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
* Developing and implementing services within national guidelines, tailored to local needs.
* Understanding legislative frameworks related to social and health care, standards, and regulatory bodies.
* Ensuring services align with the Corporate Plan and meet performance standards.
* Supporting service development and contract management.
* Managing quality and performance.
* Line managing staff.
Candidate Requirements
* Management experience with excellent organizational skills and workload prioritization.
* Experience in health, social care, or voluntary sectors delivering high-quality services.
* Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications.
* Ability to manage budgets.
