Base pay range
Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £45,900 + Diesel Van/Fuel Card
Hours: Mon–Fri 8:00am–5:00pm + On-Call (average 3 times a year) + Regular Overtime
Location: Dundee and surrounding areas – travel along East Coast (Fraserburgh to Fife)
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and respond to reactive electrical faults across multiple commercial sites.
* Fault find, diagnose, and repair electrical systems, lighting, power, distribution boards, and controls.
* Undertake electrical testing and inspection, including periodic condition reports.
* Support system upgrades, small installation projects, and remedial works as required.
* Ensure all works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with regulations.
* Accurately complete electronic job sheets, test certificates, and compliance documentation.
* Work both independently and collaboratively with other engineers and subcontractors.
Qualifications & Requirements
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or Maintenance (essential).
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671) (essential).
* 2391 or 2391-52 Inspection & Testing (highly desirable).
* Proven experience as a mobile electrical maintenance or building services engineer.
* Strong understanding of commercial electrical systems and general building services.
* Experience in fault finding, testing, and compliance within multi-site or FM environments.
* Full UK Driving Licence (no more than 6 points).
