Our client is a specialist, premium brand supplier for print, post and e-delivery solutions, and is currently seeking a Scheduler to join its Operations team, with the primary aim of meeting product due dates and achieving maximum throughput from the production system.
Responsibilities
* Prepares and maintains daily, weekly, and monthly processing schedules for a three-shift operation.
* Liaising with Operations regarding Scheduling conflicts or issues.
* Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality.
* Liaise with Client Services on Inbound work.
* Ensure that staffing levels are sufficient for the work load on the working shift in conjunction with the Shift Manager.
* Maximize efficiency driven by the schedule in production ensuring expectations are achieved.
* Constantly plan out all warehouse resources and activities in relation to the daily, weekly and monthly schedules.
* Demand planning and forecasting, coordinating the demand forecast of all customers and sharing the forecast with all internal and external suppliers.
* Resource planning, including current stock inventory and forecast demand, in collaboration with all suppliers.
* Responding in real time to disruptions.
