The Independent Living Service
* Provides person-centered support to individuals in the B&NES, Bristol, South Glos, and North Somerset areas.
* Supports clients to live independently through tailored plans, including safety installations, income maximization, aids and adaptations, shopping assistance, and medical appointment support.
Responsibilities
* Support clients to live independently at home.
* Manage own caseload, build rapport, and understand client needs.
* Collaborate with partner agencies to provide appropriate support.
Ideal Candidate
* Proactive, enthusiastic, approachable.
* Excellent time management and organization skills.
* Comfortable with challenging conversations, respectful, and confident.
* Good ICT skills; experience with mobile apps is desirable.
* Able to maintain professional boundaries and support planning.
* Resilient with understanding of issues faced by vulnerable adults.
* Driving license and transport with business insurance required due to travel across areas.
Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Check required.
