Electrical Control Panel Builder (Cab Build/Controls)

Lincoln (Main Works Site)
Contract Details:
6-Month Rolling Contract
Monday to Friday (5 days/week)
40 hours per week
6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
15-minute paid break at 9:00 AM
30-minute unpaid lunch break
Salary:
£32.00 per hour

Responsibilities:
As an Electrical Control Panel Builder, you will:
Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
Build and wire electrical control panels according to specifications
Install and wire components, including:- Switches
- Circuit breakers
- PLCs / Nodes
- Terminal connections
Perform general wiring through junction boxes based on drawings
Use small cables (not industrial size)
Maintain a clean and safe workspace
Report any issues or faults clearly and promptly
Follow all site safety regulations and procedures
Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
NVQ3 Electrotechnical Qualification
ONC Electrical and Electronic Engineering
At least 1 year time-served experience in a similar role
Strong ability to interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
Proven experience in control panel building and wiring
Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
Additional certifications in electrical engineering
Previous experience in a team-oriented environment
Familiarity with health and safety regulations
Technologies:
Proficient in using tools and technologies related to electrical component installation
Knowledge of PLCs and electrical control systems
