Axfar Recruitment are looking for Class 1 drivers for ongoing work for Various Clients around the Lanarkshire and Greater Glasgow Area.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while delivering goods across various locations. This role requires expertise in commercial driving, particularly with flatbed vehicles, ensuring timely and secure deliveries.
Duties
* Operate flatbed lorries to transport goods to designated locations safely and efficiently.
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
* Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing of items for safe transport.
* Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required by company policies.
* Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving, promoting a culture of safety on the road.
* Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transit.
* Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns from clients.
