As a Production Team Leader at Terex, based in Omagh, you’ll play a pivotal role in building equipment that helps improve the lives of people around the world.
Responsibilities
* Leading a production team of Hydraulic Fitters, scheduling workload and materials to ensure targets are met.
* Ensuring strict compliance with all Health and Safety processes and procedures.
* Maintaining a high‑quality standard within the production shed at all times.
* Supporting the Production Supervisor in their role to deliver, control and manage the day‑to‑day production of the shed to ensure on‑time delivery targets.
* Liaising with other teams and departments on a daily basis.
* Applying high standards of 5S.
* Understanding of Lean principles & methodology.
* Performing any other reasonable duties.
Experience & Qualifications
* Significant production experience gained in a highly pressured and fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
* Ideally you should have previous supervisory or people management experience.
* Good working knowledge of steel fabrication, machine parts and steel processing.
* Ability to work on your own initiative and take responsibility for making good business decisions when required.
* Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve problems quickly.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks or projects at one time.
* Motivated self‑starter with an eye for detail.
* Ability to drive quality improvements and meet targets.
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
* Good IT skills.
