Are you a Registered Nurse or Paramedic, with a strong background in resuscitation within the NHS? We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Resuscitation Officer to join our team and play a key role in improving patient safety and emergency response across the Trust.
As a clinical expert in resuscitation, you will provide both strategic and operational leadership on the management of deteriorating patients. You will design and deliver high-quality training, including simulation-based exercises, and support staff to develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence required to respond effectively to medical emergencies. Working closely with colleagues in Clinical Governance, Learning and Development, and across all directorates, you will ensure national standards are met and lessons from incidents are embedded into practice.

Main duties of the job
West London Trust is seeking to recruit an experienced and clinically skilled individual to join the Clinical Governance Team as a Resuscitation Officer. This is a pivotal role for an individual who can thrive in a fast‑paced and evolving environment, bringing both clinical expertise and strategic insight.

Qualifications
* NMC / HCPC Registered
* Resuscitation Council Advanced Life Support provider and ILS instructor.
* ILS provider
* Teaching and training, e.g. SLICE/ENB 998 or C&G 7307
* Educated to Masters level or willing to work towards
Experience
* Clinical and leadership experience, inclusive of at least: oresuscitation experience oteaching and training experience omanagement experience at B7 level or equivalent
* Clinical experience of working at B7 or equivalent within a complex health care organisation
* Leading /direct involvement in quality improvement initiatives, audit and research
* Experience in designing and delivering teaching packages
* Experience of working within a Mental Health setting
