What You'll Be Doing
You'll be the operational heartbeat of our site, supporting the smooth flow of inbound and outbound waste movements while keeping communication sharp and processes tight. Your day will include:
* Coordinating bookings for all inbound and outbound waste
* Managing phones and emails, supporting customers, suppliers, and internal teams
* Confirming quotations and preparing essential paperwork (Con Notes, Waste Declarations)
* Maintaining accurate digital and manual records
* Creating purchase orders when authorised
* Supporting site inductions alongside our Health & Safety Manager
* Welcoming visitors and keeping the traffic schedule up to date
* Building and maintaining our disposal route database
* Working closely with the MD, Site Manager, and Operations Manager on daily load planning
* Liaising with the Site Manager on packaged waste stock and processing
* Managing the Garage round with Slicker and overseeing Peter Cooper waste collections
* Monitoring driver compliance with working time directives
* Ensuring Digital Tacho Card downloads and managing infringement reporting
* Checking vehicle defect reports and arranging maintenance and 6‑weekly inspections
This is a role where your judgement, communication, and organisation directly influence our efficiency and success.

* Good literacy and numeracy for handling paperwork
* A willingness to learn and grow
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Competence in Word and Excel
