We're expanding our team in Belfast and are searching for a dedicated Group Financial Accountant. This role offers a chance to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
The Role:
As a Group Financial Accountant, you will be instrumental in enhancing our financial processes and reporting. Key responsibilities include:
* Managing profit and loss, balance sheet reporting, and KPI analysis.
* Overseeing key financial reconciliations (e.g., prepayments, accruals, fixed assets).
* Conducting VAT and PAYE returns and managing banking and treasury functions.
* Leading debtor reporting and implementing new expense processes.
* Supporting budgeting, statutory audits, and ad-hoc project management.
* Collaborating closely with finance teams across Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, and Great Britain.
Who We're Looking For:
* Qualifications: Part-qualified or fully qualified in accounting, or equivalent practical experience.
* Experience: At least 3 years in a financial accounting role, with a demonstrated ability to manage detailed reports and analytics.
* Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Experience with financial systems and software.
* Attributes: Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, proactive in process improvement, and excellent at both verbal and non-verbal communication.
Desirable:
Experience in the recruitment industry is advantageous but not mandatory, as comprehensive training will be provided.
