We’re hiring an Assistant Site Manager who knows how sites really work - someone who can balance practical know-how with leadership and organisation.
Responsibilities:
· Support the Site Manager in coordinating site activities
· Supervise and motivate trades and subcontractors
· Maintain site safety and ensure HSE compliance
· Assist with planning, scheduling, and progress tracking
· Liaise with suppliers, clients, and inspectors
· Monitor workmanship and uphold quality standards
About You:
· Background in a skilled trade (e.g. carpentry, bricklaying, electrical, plumbing, etc.)
· Experience supervising teams or working as a working foreman/ganger
· Solid understanding of construction processes and site safety
· Strong communication and problem-solving skills
· CSCS & SSSTS required
· SMSTS desirable
