Decorator - Damp & Mould
Location: Northfleet
Salary: GBP36,086 - GBP44,731 per year, DoE
Hours: Monday - Friday, 7.30am - 5pm.

Bridge Recruitment is helping one of our established clients recruit for an experienced Decorator that has plenty experience with damp and mould.
Responsibilities of the Decorator:
· Completion of all work tasks to the highest quality standard, providing high levels of customer service within given timescales. Prepare surfaces for painting and wallpapering, including stripping wallpaper, filling holes, and sanding.
· Apply paint and wallpaper to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces.
· Treat mould and damp.
· Assist other trades, contractors or Client staff where required.
· Liaise and build good working relationships with client's staff and tenants, contractors and colleagues.
· Liaise and build good working relationships with other team members.
· Complete all required documentation to required accuracy standards and return to the office in a timely manner.
· Maintaining all company issued equipment, including Vehicles, in good working condition.
· Maintaining adequate levels of standard issue stock.
· Maintain a safe working environment.
· Carry out such further tasks as may be from time to time delegated to you by your team leader or management.
Requirements of the Decorator:
· Proven experience in decorating, with a focus on damp and mould treatment.
· Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
· Ability to effectively communicate ensuring politeness and professionalism at all times.
· Understanding of Health and Safety requirements.
· Good Team player but also able and happy to work on own initiative.
· Good timekeeper and flexible approach to work.
· Ability to demonstrate excellent skills in your primary trade and competency in at least one other secondary trade, depending on stage of career development.
· A good attitude, clear focus and perseverance.
· A positive and professional approach.
· Commitment to personal development and learning.
· Hold a full, clean Driving Licence.
