We have a number of opportunities for qualified Swim Teachers to join the team at our newly refurbished Diss Swim Centre. Positions are available on both a permanent and casual basis, with flexible options to work across 50 weeks per year or term time only.
The successful candidates will be responsible for planning, organising, and delivering a high-quality programme of swimming lessons in line with the ASA National Plan for Teaching Swimming. Lessons should be structured, progressive, and engaging, ensuring that participants of all ages and abilities enjoy their learning experience while developing essential swimming skills.
This role presents an excellent opportunity to contribute to the continued success of Diss Swim Centre and to support the development of swimming skills within the local community.
About You
Applicants must hold an ASA Level 2 Swimming Teacher qualification (or equivalent), together with either the National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers & Coaches or the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification. Candidates will also be expected to demonstrate previous experience in planning and delivering swimming lessons to groups of mixed ability, together with strong organisational, communication, and motivational skills. Experience of teaching SEND students would be an advantage.
In addition to delivering our Learn to Swim programme, we are particularly interested in candidates with experience in providing group sessions, Adult and Child lessons, as well as individual or 2:1 tuition.
