Job Title: Business Intelligence & Data Analyst\nLocation: Nottingham (Hybrid) Max time in office once a week for meetings.\nSalary: £35,000 - £37,000 (Depending on Experience) \nHours: Full Time (37.5 hours per week) \nShift Pattern: Monday - Friday \n\nAbout the Role: Are you an experienced data analyst with a passion for transforming data into actionable insights. Our client, a leading not-for-profit healthcare organisation, is seeking a Business Intelligence & Data Analyst to play a key role in driving data-driven decision-making and improving organisational performance.\n\nIn this role, you will design and deliver dashboards using Power BI, manage SQL databases, and provide timely reports on key performance indicators (KPIs). \n\nYou will work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to identify reporting gaps, improve processes, and support strategic goals.
\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nDevelop structured data collection processes and ensure data integrity. \nCreate impactful dashboards using Power BI and manage SQL queries. \nAnalyse trends, forecast outcomes, and support decision-making.
\nCollaborate with teams to improve reporting mechanisms and drive corrective actions. \nEnsure compliance with data governance principles and quality standards. What We're Looking For:\n\nEssential Skills & Experience:\n\nDegree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
\nExpert knowledge of Power BI and SQL database management. \nAdvanced IT skills, including Excel and database systems. \nExcellent analytical and numeric skills.
\nStrong communication skills to convey complex data insights. Desirable Skills:\n\nExperience with healthcare information systems \nKnowledge of statistical analysis tools (e.g., R, Python). \nUnderstanding of NHS data governance principles.
