Supply Hive is supporting a welcoming primary school in Maidenhead to find a Reception Teacher on a part-time basis, starting in September 2026, the full teacher role will be required and you will be paid to scale. This friendly school is well-established within the local community and is a two-form entry primary school. Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging, play-based lessons for Reception-aged children, fostering early literacy, numeracy, and social skills. Observe, assess, and track children’s development, providing feedback to support progress across all areas of learning. Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that promotes curiosity, independence, and a love of learning. Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to support the well-being and development of every child. Support the smooth daily routines of a Reception classroom, including snack time, outdoor play, and transitions. Contribute to wider school life, including assemblies, enrichment activities, and team meetings. Uphold the school’s values and commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and child-centred learning. Requirements: ✅ Be a qualified teacher (QTS) with experience in Early Years Foundation Stage (Reception). ✅ Have excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills. ✅ Experience in creating engaging, developmentally appropriate activities for young children. ✅ Available for the duration of the placement on a part-time basis. ✅ DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain a new one.
