Responsibilities
* Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring efficient service and customer satisfaction
* Manage food preparation and production processes, adhering to safety and quality standards
* Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster a collaborative team environment
* Implement training programmes for new staff members, focusing on culinary skills and food safety practices
* Maintain inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as necessary to ensure seamless operations
* Collaborate with the culinary team to develop menu items that reflect current trends and customer preferences
* Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain cleanliness in all areas of the establishment
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for positive resolutions
Skills
* Strong background in food preparation and cooking techniques
* Proven supervisory experience with a focus on team management
* Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential
* Culinary experience with an understanding of food production processes
