Mobile Hydraulic Hose Engineer
Work in Manchester, Greater Manchester, United Kingdom.
Responsibilities
* Attend sites, replace hoses and hydraulic components for clients.
* Liaise with existing customers, report job processes via the company mobile app, and update orders.
* Develop business with existing and new customers.
* Work basic hours 8 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday (42.5 hours a week).
* Participate in an on-call rota (usually one week a month), requiring onsite work at nights and weekends; compensated by an on-call retainer, overtime pay and commission.
Qualifications
* Hard‑working, reliable, able to work unsupervised, customer‑focused.
* Previous experience in hose replacement or as a forklift/plant fitter, HGV fitter, agricultural fitter, or similar mechanical role.
* Confidence in canvassing potential new customers and dealing with existing customers.
* Manual UK Driving Licence with at least 3 years driving experience and no more than 3 penalty points.

* Starting basic salary of £28,500 – £34,000 with potential to earn more through overtime and an uncapped commission structure.
