About the Room Leader position
An amazing opportunity has arisen within the MiChild group. We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic, and organized individual to join our team as a Room Leader at Meadow Nursery.
If you are highly motivated, flexible, experienced in working in early years, and have a genuine passion for working with children, then this is the role for you.
Room Leader responsibilities include:
* Working as a room leader and implementing the nursery curriculum.
* Providing high standards of quality within the nursery, including the environment, resources, and experiences offered to children.
* Leading planning and maintaining accurate children's records.
* Promoting and facilitating partnerships with parents, carers, and family members.
* Supporting good practice regarding special needs and inclusion.
* Collaborating with the Childcare and Education team to improve childcare and education quality.
* Ensuring children's safety and staff understanding of safeguarding procedures.
* Meeting children's nutritional needs and complying with Food Safety Regulations.
* Adhering to relevant legislation, including the Children Acts 1989 and 2004, and company policies and procedures.
* Staying updated on current developments in childcare and education policy and practice.
Room Leader requirements:
* Level 3 qualification
* Understanding of Ofsted requirements
* Excellent knowledge of the EYFS and experience working with children and families
* Extensive safeguarding knowledge
* Experience working with parents and outside agencies
* Managing and maintaining administrative requirements
