As Assistant Manager, you'll support the General Manager in maintaining excellence across the team, delivering 14 great shifts to ensure every customer leaves happy. You'll oversee the daily operations of the Lounge, including rotas, team engagement, and customer feedback. Your standards will be high, and your approach unique to you. The role involves driving sales, team retention, training, customer service, and maintaining high standards. You aim for your Lounge to be the go-to place for the local community. This role is challenging but rewarding.
Ideal Candidate:
1. Likely an existing Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager, or Supervisor with experience in restaurants, bars, cafes, or coffee shops.
2. Experience working in a bar environment with freshly made food and drinks.
3. Passionate about hospitality and skilled in people management and talent spotting.
4. Driven and persistent in overcoming challenges.
5. Good literacy and attention to detail for reporting KPIs.
6. Excellent communication skills to build rapport and trust.
7. Self-motivated, able to work efficiently under pressure with limited supervision.
8. Knowledge of sales building, forecasting, reporting, recruitment, HR, and NPS.
