In addition to the below mentioned hands-on technical duties, you will serve as a foreman and crew lead overseeing daily work assignments, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring safety and quality standards are consistently met. You'll be expected to mentor junior technicians, delegate tasks effectively, and take a proactive approach to problem-solving and workflow optimization.
Responsibilities
* Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
* Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues and develop effective solutions.
* Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems.
* Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns.
* Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
* Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations.
* Provide excellent customer service by responding to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
* Complete all required paperwork, safety documentation, and field notes/pictures.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as an Industrial Mechanic or similar role.
* Strong knowledge of industrial maintenance practices and procedures.
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
* Experience working with logic controllers (PLCs) is highly desirable.
* Ability to weld and perform basic fabrication tasks.
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues.
* Excellent customer service skills
