Academics is currently partnering with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Sutton, seeking a passionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from September. In this role, you'll work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to support pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and behavioural challenges. Your support will play a vital role in promoting inclusive learning, encouraging independence, and fostering positive behaviour. Role Details: Location: Primary School, Sutton Start Date: September Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday Salary: £95-£110 per day (depending on experience) Key Responsibilities: Provide tailored one-to-one support for a nursery child with SEN, such as Autism and ADHD Encourage positive behaviour and inclusive learning strategies Contribute to creating a supportive, engaging, and nurturing classroom environment Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and parents to track and support pupil progress What We're Looking For: Previous experience working with children with SEN, ideally in a school setting A committed SEN Teaching Assistant who is eager to make a real difference Strong communication and interpersonal skills A proactive, patient, and compassionate approach If you are an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant ready to make a lasting impact in a thriving Fulham primary school, we'd love to hear from you.
