About the Role
We are seeking respectful, reliable, and empathetic individuals to join our team asBearers, playing a vital role in delivering dignified and professional funeral services. This is a meaningful position where you’ll support families during one of the most important moments in their lives.
As a Bearer, you’ll assist with carrying coffins and supporting funeral ceremonies under the guidance of the Funeral Director. You’ll help ensure every detail is handled with care, compassion, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
* Support funeral ceremonies by carrying coffins and assisting with other ceremonial duties.
* Work closely with Funeral Arrangers and Directors to understand daily schedules and locations.
* Ensure vehicles are clean, well-maintained, and respectfully presented.
* Carry out additional duties as requested by your manager.
* Stay informed of company updates and communications.
* Undertake training related to FCA compliance, although your role will not involve regulated activities unless deemed competent.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience in a customer service role.
* Awareness of different religions and cultures within the community.
* Basic Maths and English skills.
